Babel has made its home in the heart of Lille, in this buzzing neighborhood where locals, artists, students, and travelers cross paths. A hotel in Lille near the two train stations offers the rare freedom of being able to explore everything on foot. At the heart of the BABEL project is a desire to promote the city, the neighbourhood and its residents by working on a long-term basis with ultra-local suppliers, artists from Lille and neighbourhood associations.
Our concise, purpose-driven menu champions local producers and artisans: beers from Brasserie Cambier, St. Bernardus, and Abbaye de Vaucelles, short-circuit MUDA coffee, and our own twist on homemade sweet treats. And to make the journey complete, BABEL will regularly host exhibitions, talks, and artist residencies in partnership with Le Fresnoy and the Maison des Cultures du Monde Attacafa.
